March – Friendship
Березень - Дружба
1) This month started with the International Women’s Day.
We prepared a special location for those who wanted to take a photo and turn it
into a greeting card for their mothers, grannies, sisters or just friends
2) How to find a new friend? - It's not difficult if you
have the same interests! We went on our work with creating Linoit boards to
tell about our hobbies and find people with the same interests (The links are
on March page of the project)
4) We decided
to play a game (or do quiz) which we call "Do you know your friend
well?" to check how well friends know each other in some funny way. We
explained the rules to our partners in a case they want to play too:
Two pupils sit down back to back
not to see each other (or you may put some obstacle between them)
The quizmaster asks them questions
about each other and participants have to write their answers down on a card.
Then we'll compare the answers. If they are the same - these friends are
true!
For
playing the game we needed questions to ask so, we asked our partners to help
us make it. This web 2.0 tool – Meetingwords.com – is very useful for doing such
tasks
Thank everyone
for interesting questions for a Friends' Game! We chose 12 of them to play with
younger pupils after the lessons and had great fun!
The best result was 7 out
of 12 so; we may see that even friends don't know each other well. They should
communicate more often and pay more attention to each other!
5. We were going to
write a collaborative story about friendship with pupils from other schools but
for doing that we had to, first of all, chose the main character. So, we organized
a survey for two different age groups.
Of course, we voted
by ourselves for the main character of our book
For the high school
all together we chose HUMAN as the main hero.
6. Other schools
asked us to start the book. We had to think of the introduction, setting the
place and time and describing the main characters of the story
As we all together had
chosen "A human" for a collaborative story writing but the next
variant was "an unreal animal, like a dragon" so, we decided to use
both of them.

This is our team that
worked on the book. There are only 5 of pupils there because others have
another task - they will present our book to pupils of our Lyceum
