Required Tasks for 22 group (10.04.2020)

Sorry for not posting this lesson on time, I felt bad these days. So, during this lesson, we are going to revise what youth subcultures exist in the modern world and try to distinguish between them. Also, we’ll speak about the life of the modern generation of teens, their likes and dislikes.

So, the plan is:

1. Watch the first video, pay attention to the names of different subcultures and how their representatives look like. Do you remember what is typical for them: clothes, music, films …?

2. Watch the second video. At time mark 3:42 there is a task to guess what subcultures are described. Read the short descriptions and write the names of subculture to your copy-books (you don’t need to do other tasks from that video).

3. Do exercise 6 on page 218, “Fashion hurts” and fill the form with the answers.

4. Watch this video about teenagers’ hobbies; watch the video of the previous lesson with the expressions for talking about hobbies and write a short story about your hobby or hobby that you would like to try. Try to tie your hobby with 2-3 sentences about a subculture you could belong to.
